Kansas City Chiefs

What time are the Kansas City Chiefs playing tonight?

This weekend’s top matchup on the NFL schedule takes place at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, where the New England Patriots will host the Kansas City Chiefs on NBC Sunday Night Football. It’ll be a battle between an undefeated (5-0) Chiefs team with a high-powered offense led by one of the stars of the first five weeks of the NFL season in quarterback Patrick Mahomes and a 3-2 Patriots team that seems to be rounding into their typical top-notch form after a slow start. With each team loaded at the skill positions on offense, this could be a game that sees plenty of points, as well as an entertaining quarterback battle between Mahomes and Tom Brady.

Mahomes has been the talk of the NFL so far this season after starting out with 1,513 yards, 14 touchdowns, and two interceptions. He’ll be heading into a road environment where opposing quarterbacks under the age of 25 are just 1-41 all time during the regular season, and if he wants to buck that trend, he’ll need to overcome whatever Patriots head coach Bill Belichick cooks up in order to throw him off his game.

“They’re going to have a game plan on trying to stop some of your better guys,” Mahomes said, per Chiefs.com. “With us, I feel like the mentality we’ve had this entire season is that whoever is open, give them the ball and let them make the play. They’re going to do some stuff to try to confuse me, but I’m going to try to maintain our game plan and keep working.”

The Chiefs and Patriots faced off in Foxborough in Week 1 of the 2017 regular season, a game that was won by the Chiefs 42-27. The Chiefs bring the same type of firepower to New England this week, although with an injury-riddled defense, they might have to put up the same type of offensive output to ensure a victory. Here’s a look at some facts, figures and information to know about the game, including info on how to see it on television.
