Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill added to his list of incredible achievements by breaking a Pro Football Focus record for most receiving yards on deep passes.
The Chiefs enter the postseason as the No. 1 seed in the AFC, and despite dealing with injuries and the whole Kareem Hunt saga, they managed to put together enough outstanding performances to earn a 12-4 record overall.
Hill has been a big reason for the team’s success, as he’s racked up 87 receptions for 1,479 yards and 12 touchdowns while being targeted a whopping 137 times.
And now, there’s another impressive stat to support his excellent play, courtesy of Pro Football Focus.

Hill’s speed is undoubtedly one of his biggest assets, and he’s helped quarterback Patrick Mahomes put together what may wind up being an MVP season.
Mahomes threw for 5,097 yards and 50 touchdowns during the regular season, and with this duo on the field, the Chiefs are one of the toughest offensives in the NFL to prepare for on a week in and week out basis.
So, it’s easy to understand why Andy Reid and his staff may be rather confident about their team’s chances to make a run to a Super Bowl, even if there are some obvious tweaks that need to be made on the defensive side of the ball.
But with Hill’s big play ability in the passing game, there’s no doubt that the Chiefs are going to have an opportunity to make a serious run at a championship.
