Chiefs win, but can they cover?

The question with this Sunday’s game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Arizona Cardinals at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City doesn’t seem to be whether the Chiefs will win, but whether they’ll cover a gigantic 16.5 to 17-point spread.

That’s a big spread to cover in any situation in the NFL, even in a game that matches one of the NFL’s top offenses against one of the worst.

A look at this week’s projections from the national experts show some believe the Chiefs will have enough to cover that spread and then some. Others aren’t so sure and think the Cardinals will be able to keep it closer than expected.

Either way, it might be a close call in the end. It would be an absolute stunner if the Chiefs lost this game, but the Cardinals have been competitive in many of their games this season and may have enough to stay inside the range of the spread.

With that said, here’s a roundup of some notable national projections for this week’s game.
