What will the Packers look like without Mike McCarthy?
McCarthy was one of the longest tenured coaches in the NFL, having been with the Green Bay Packers from 2006 all the way through the 2018 season. Many coaches don’t get a shot to last that long, but McCarthy bought himself some time with a Super Bowl win in Super Bowl XLV. It was ultimately a 6-9-1 record and several seasons of mediocrity that did McCarthy in.
The Packers still have Aaron Rodgers under contract, but we learned in 2018 that Rodgers can’t get it done alone. Will the Packers decision-makers surround him with the right coaching staff and talent to turn this franchise around? Stay tuned.
