Chiefs fan are undoubtedly looking ahead to that Nov. 19 game in Mexico.
At this point, it is setting up as a battle of one-loss teams when the Chiefs and Rams face off in Mexico City on “Monday Night Football.”
But another prime-time game against another team from Los Angeles looms large for the Chiefs. On Dec. 13, the Chargers will visit Arrowhead Stadium on “Thursday Night Football.”
The Chargers beat Seattle 25-17 on Sunday for their fifth straight win and improved to 6-2. They are on the Chiefs’ heels in the AFC West.
NBC analyst Rodney Harrison is impressed with the Chargers and said so before Sunday night’s Patriots-Packers game.
“The Los Angeles Chargers, I really believe that they are better than Kansas City,” Harrison said. “I think they are a more complete team. Philip Rivers, he’s experienced, and they’re going to need that once the playoff scenario, the playoff run happens.”
Here is the clip:
One thing to note about the Chargers: They are 6-0 against teams with a .500 record or worse and 0-2 against teams with a winning record. That, of course, includes a loss to the Chiefs.
